Virtual reality gaming is the application of a three-dimensional (3-D) artificial environment to computer games. Virtual reality environments are created with VR software and presented to the user in such a way that they supersede the real-world environment, creating suspension of disbelief and helping the user experience the VR environment as real. At its simplest, a VR game might involve a 3D image that can be explored interactively on a computing device by manipulating keys, mouse or touchscreen. More sophisticated and Immersive examples include VR headsets wrap around display screens and VR rooms augmented with wearable computers and sensory components, such as scents and haptics devices for tactile feedback.

Deepfakes

Deep fakes nowadays can ruin ones's career using one single image or video. The people that create these stuff have gotten good enough to swap celebrities' faces into porn videos and put words in politicians' mouths, but they could do a lot worse. What they can do is change the people's minds and thoughts since they are not only hearing it through their ears but also seeing it in their own eyes in a very professional way you cant even differentiate between real or deep fake. Marco Rubio once said that "In old days if you wanted to threaten the United States, you needed 10 aircraft carriers, and nuclear weapons, and long-range missiles. Today, you just need access to our internet system, to our banking system, to our electrical grid and infrastructure, and increasingly, all you need is the ability to produce a very realistic fake video that could undermine our elections, that could throw our country into tremendous crisis internally and weaken us deeply." I deeply agree with that and the fact that today's most valuable item money can buy is not an old painting by a famous artist, is not gold, is not diamonds, yet it is data. Data is the most valuable item today and people who create deep fakes are the only dealers.

AR/VR

AR/VR can be really useful but dangerous as well. VR is taking away the real fun from life itself in my opinion. Example, outdoor rides in Universal Studios are now being swapped for VR rides which are fun, yet take away the thrill behind riding in a "real life" ride. While AR can be useful in film making for example instead of stunt men performing dangerous stunts, yet AR can be used in deep fakes that are being made just to generate lies about certain people or events.
